does your recycling, because we are the largest
hydrometallurgical recycler in North America - the only one with
facilities nationwide: a network of four RCRA-permitted plants,
located in South Carolina, Illinois, Texas, and in California.
Phibro-Tech's plants are permitted by the appropriate
environmental agencies at both the federal and state levels and
the company has an excellent environmental track record.
Phibro-Tech recycles over 300 million pounds per year of spent
materials. We are fully insured with both general liability and
Environmental Impairment Liability(EIL) insurance.
Fast Response to Our Customers, Using
Our Own Private Transportation System
To further assure our customers of uninterrupted service as well
as rapid response even in the event of a rail strike Phibro-Tech
maintains its own comprehensive private transportation system.
The system is comprised of both rail capability and a permitted
truck fleet.
A Commitment to Further Improvements
In order to better assist our customers and to find better ways
to make our products and processes even better in the future,
our corporate Research and Development laboratory (The Charles
H. Bendheim Memorial Laboratory) is located in Sumter, South
Carolina. The laboratory is equipped with state-of-the-art
instrumentation in the areas of chromatography, spectroscopy,
and physical measurements.
