At Phibro-Tech we adhere to high quality standards by following Good Laboratory Practices
(GLP). GLPs are a set of guidelines that must be followed when conducting studies that support
or are intended to support applications for research or marketing permits for products regulated
by government agencies. These regulations are intended to assure the quality and integrity of
data submitted.
GLP standards have been published by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for
pesticide products and by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for a variety of
regulated products. Products regulated by the FDA include food and color additives, animal food
additives, human and animal drugs, and others.
Quality Assurance promise
All studies conducted at Phibro’s Charles H. Bendheim Memorial Laboratory exemplify the highest
quality and meet or exceed the criteria promulgated in 40 CFR Part 160 to assure the integrity
of the data generated.
Studies are inspected by a qualified quality assurance coordinator and the findings are reported
to the study director and facility management.
Compliance
The Charles H. Bendheim Memorial Laboratory successfully passed its EPA inspection on May 15-16, 2007 with no adverse
findings. The facility has been GLP compliant since 1998, conducting product chemistry studies
and other EPA-related research projects for Phibro-Tech and more than 20 external clients.
